In 2018, Jax designed the iconic "The Future is Non-Binary" t-shirt. This t-shirt quickly became a staple in their wardrobe. It was later sold and distributed widely as the first product by Gender 404.

In 2020, Gender 404 was created and ran as a small business with a focus on clothing and community. They hosted such fan-favourites as “Trans Lives > Cis Feelings” and the classic “I hate it here” sweater. During such, they also ran various community initiatives such as Gay at Home: a holiday card campaign, and T4T Pen Pal: a trans-inclusive campaign focused on bringing youth together during the pandemic.

Now in 2025, Jax continues to run Gender 404 as a small business and clothing brand, focused on facilitating a safer, welcoming space for trans and gender-free folks online and in-person.

Jax is a trans non-binary artist and maker based in Toronto, Canada. When not working on Gender 404, Jax continues to make art, whilst also engaging in community arts as an educator who supports 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
